SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK has won the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival. David O’Russells film starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence continues to get great reviews and is already on many Best Picture prediction lists.

This also begins the Best Actor discussion for Cooper. This could give him his first nomination. Look for Lawrence to also be considered for Best Actress.

We still wait to see how LINCOLN, LES MISERABLE, DJANGO UNCHAINED, ZERO DARK THIRTY and LIFE OF PI do, but right now ARGO and SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK look to be front runners for Best Picture.
